What is Pitch Comedy Series?

Pitch Comedy Series consists of the presentation of comedy TV series projects for the presentation of TV series projects at the international session “Pitch Comedy Series” 2026, at CONECTA Magaluf-Mallorca, which will take place from May 25 to 28, 2026, at different locations in the Balearic Islands (“CONECTA Magaluf-Mallorca”).

The deadline for submitting projects is March 4, 2026. You can check the call rules here. Please note that submissions must be made via the website; we will not accept any requests by email.

Who can participate in the call for projects?

Legal entities (production companies, distributors, television channels, etc.), not individuals, of any nationality, who have an idea for a comedy TV series may participate in this call for entries.

What does the Pitch Comedy Series call offer?

Five finalist projects will be selected to be presented at CONECTA Magaluf-Mallorca, which will take place from May 25 to 28, 2026, at different locations in the Balearic Islands.

If selected, you will have the opportunity to present your project in a face-to-face pitch session in front of an audience of executives and potential industry partners at CONECTA Magaluf-Mallorca.

CONECTA Magaluf-Mallorca will cover the accreditation and accommodation expenses for three nights, from May 25 to 28, 2026, for one representative of each selected project.

How are the projects selected?

We will submit your project to the Pitch Comedy Series Editorial Committee (to be confirmed shortly), made up of a team of international professionals with different areas of expertise within the sector.

The jury will evaluate all projects received and select the five finalists based on criteria such as artistic quality, uniqueness of content, budget, and international potential, among others.

The finalists will be announced in April 2026.

No accreditation is required to submit a project.
Project registration is free of charge.
The same project cannot be presented in other Pitching sessions.
Each Applicant may submit a maximum of 3 Projects.
Vertical drama/micro drama are not accepted in this call for submissions.

The deadline to submit projects is March 4th, 2026.

DOCUMENTATION TO BE SENT:

2.4. Mandatory Documents. The following documents are required for the submission of each Project, and must be supplied before the Closing Date:

One-pager project presentation with the logline and synopsis
Bible summary (logline, synopsis, characters, world, tone, season overview – no more than 15 pages)
Three dialogued scenes from the pilot episode
Letter describing writer and/or producer’s vision of the Project.
Production budget in euros (here)
Financial plan in euros (here)
Company corporate documentation: tax number, registration document or
official identification number
In the case of a project based on pre-existing work, a signed and dated contract must be attached, showing the transfer of rights to the production company for its adaptation into a fiction series.
If using AI, please attach an information letter.
