The Editorial Committee of the PITCH DIRECT TO STREAMING MOVIES at Conecta Magaluf-Mallorca is made up of expert professionals and senior executives from the audiovisual industry. They are responsible for reviewing and evaluating feature film projects intended for platform releases submitted during our Project Call. From these, they select five feature film projects to be presented in a pitch session during the event in May 2026 in Mallorca.

Alex is a creative producer with 20 years’ experience turning bold ideas into standout TV movies and series. Having worked at leading studios like Warner Bros., Constantin Film, Red Arrow, and Producers at Work, he specializes in developing and packaging premium German content with international appeal. Early in his career, he honed his industry sense at UTA and Gersh in Los Angeles, navigating the motion picture literary world. A DFFB and EAVE alum with business degrees from Berlin and Madrid, Alex combines strong creative instincts with strategic know-how—always focused on building compelling stories that travel.

Head of Programming and Content & Entertainment Development

DIRECTV LATAM (ARGENTINA)

Argentine film producer, lecturer, and researcher. She currently serves as Head of Programming and Content & Entertainment Development at DIRECTV LATAM, where she has produced films, series, and television content, as well as overseen acquisitions. A graduate of and lecturer at ENERC, she leads the Latin American Market Strategies and Distribution & Exhibition courses. Her research focuses on new production systems, exhibition models, and business models. She is part of HACK Málaga, which this year held its fifth edition. Her filmography includes more than forty feature films—among them Tetro, by Francis Ford Coppola—as well as several original series. She has also produced eighty concerts at DIRECTV Arena Argentina, along with various related musical content. She was part of the founding team of DGO LATAM, DIRECTV LATAM’s digital platform. Passionate and focused on innovation.

Manuel Martí works as a producer alongside Mariano Cohn and Gastón Duprat, developing film and series projects through the Cohn-Duprat film office. Until February 2025, he served as Head of Fiction at Fremantle Latam, where he oversaw the development of original content, international coproductions, and strategic alliances. Prior to Fremantle, Manuel spent 5 years at Polka, one of Latin America’s biggest production companies, as Head of Development and International Business; and 8 years at Turner International as Latam’s Original Production Director. Originally trained as an architect, Manuel has worked in the fields of design, direction, and content production.

She has worked for more than 25 years in preproduction, production, post-production, special and visual effects, and CGI. Since the pitching stage, she has supervised planning in preproduction, delivering more than 1,600 hours of original content for major open TV, cable, and streaming channels such as Globo, SBT, RecordTV, HBO Max/Warner, Lifetime, FOX, Disney, Amazon, Paramount, and Netflix, among others. She is responsible for client and crew communication, as well as managing the entire team. She is also a member of the International Academy of Television Arts & Science (International Emmy Awards), a global network of more than 900 television executives, as well as APRO, ABC, FilmBrasil, and other associations that foster active collaboration and reinforce the role and development of women in the audiovisual industry.
