What is PITCH YOUNG MINDS?
It is contest for young entrepreneurs up to 30 years old who reside in Spain with full capacity to work in Spanish territory, and who have a technological project that seeks to satisfy needs in various sectors of the entertainment industry (any technology that directly or indirectly contributes, improves and / or transforms the way of making audiovisual / digital entertainment) and who have the desire to make it a reality.
The objective of the contest is to support projects in the development stage that are not yet part of a company, so participants will have the opportunity to find information, partners or investors to support their project and help materialize their vision.

What does the PITCH YOUNG MINDS contest offer?
4 projects will be selected to present in a face-to-face pitch session in front of an audience of executives and potential industry partners at Conecta DIGITAL, an extension of Conecta FICTION & ENTERTAINMENT, which will take place on November 5 and 6, 2024 in Madrid.
Conecta DIGITAL will cover accreditation expenses for two representatives of each selected project.
The 4 selected projects will be given mentorships and the best one will benefit from a cash prize of 1.500 €.
What documents must be submitted to participate in the contest?
The submission of each project must be accompanied by the following documents in Spanish or English, which must be submitted by September 30th, 2024.
Required documents
- Pitch Deck: A presentation that thoroughly describes the idea, the problem it seeks to solve, the Value Proposition along with a SWOT analysis, what are its objectives, projections of the project, etc. It should not exceed 20 pages.
- CV of the members.
- ID card or equivalent of the members.
Optional documents (if available)
- Videopitch (max 1.30 minutes).
- Business plan: market analysis, organization, product or service line, marketing and sales strategy, financial projections, implementation strategy, etc.
- Some kind of demonstration of the product or service.
- Intellectual property registration (Safecreative or similar).
- Any document that helps to better understand the project or adds value to it.
How are projects selected?
We will put your project in the hands of a Professional Jury (to be confirmed shortly), composed of a team of professionals from different areas of expertise within the technology and audiovisual sector.
The Jury will evaluate all the projects received and will select 4 projects, based on criteria of originality, innovation, technical and economic viability, importance in the sector and other elements, according to their professional and objective criteria.
The finalists will be announced in October 2024.
How and when can projects be submitted?
You have until September 30th, 2024 to send us your project. Remember that the submission must be made through the website, we will not receive any application by email.
To submit a project, you must:

- Enter this page and click on the ‘Submit a project’ button at the bottom of the page. This will open a form that must be filled in with all the project data.
- No accreditation is required to submit a project.
- Project registration is free of charge.
