·} EDITORIAL COMMITTEE FEELGOOD FORMATS

The Conecta FICTION & ENTERTAINMENT Pitch Feelgood Formats Editorial Committee is integrated by several professional experts and senior executives from the audiovisual industry, both from Europe and the Americas. They are in charge of reviewing and evaluating the international entertainment format projects received during our call for projects. From all the formats received, a total of 5 will be chosen to be presented at the pitching session during the June event.

After joining Atresmedia in 2014 , Ana is responsible of searching  international formats  for unscripted programs to be adapted in Antena 3, La Sexta and Atresplayer. Previously, she was Head of Research at Plural Entertainment for 8 years and, before that, she worked as Director of Programming and Acquisitions of NBCU channels in Spain since its launching. She started her career in Canal Satelite Digital, where she was also  part of the launching team of the pay tv service. She teaches in various schools like IFP Planeta or UPV.

In charge since 2019 of Prime Video’s strategy and original entertainment productions (“Operación Triunfo”, “G.E.O. Más Allá del Límite”, “LOL: si te ríes, pierdes”, “Bake Off”, El Desafío: ETA, among others). Graduate in Audiovisual Communication and Master in Creativity and TV programs. Scriptwriter since 2006, script coordinator in programs such as “Pesadilla en la Cocina” and “El Jefe Infiltrado” and, later, in charge of creative development, I+D and acquisitions of international formats in companies such as Warner Bros ITVP España and Boxfish.

Member of the International Academy of Television since 2022 and with almost 20 years of experience in media, entertainment and production markets, Renato Martinez started his career at RedeTV as a producer and soon migrated to Acquisitions and New Business Development. After a brief period on adverting agencies and ad production companies, Renato joined Endemol Shine Brasil leading Sales & Marketing. Later, he signed up with Paramount to step up as Programming Sales Director for Latin America. In 2018, Endemol Shine Brazil invited Renato to rejoin the company as VP of Content Sales & Acquisitions. In Endemol Shine Brazil, Renato is responsible for leading negotiations with all major partners on projects such as The Masked Singer (Globo), Masterchef (Bandeirantes), All Together Now (Record TV), Love is Blind (Netflix), Temptation Island (Prime Video),  Rio Shore (Paramount+) and International Emmy Winner A Ponte – The Bridge Brazil (Max).

He was Deputy Director of Format Development at Mediaset from January 2011 to April 2015, and then became Director of New Projects until 2023, spending a total of 12 years at Mediaset. He’s also had experience as a scriptwriter, teacher (in the Master in Content Creation and Production UEM-MEDIASET) and has been the director of the programs +TE VALE (winner of the Ondas Award for the Most Innovative Program 2002) and + TE VALE XXL of CANAL+. After almost a year at 7yAcción in Content Development in 2023, he assumes the position of Creative Director of ITVS IBERIA on January 1st, 2024.

SERGIO NAKASONE

Non-Scripted Development and Production Leader, General Entertainment

Warner Bros. Discovery Latinoamérica y US Hispanic

Sergio Nakasone leads the concept creation, development and production of non-fiction projects for Warner Bros. Discovery brands, both for the Max streaming platform and the company’s Pay TV channels, including formats such as documentaries, docuseries, reality shows, variety shows and other original formats based on real life, in multiple countries in the region. With more than 20 years of experience in the entertainment business, he previously worked for leading companies in the industry in Argentina, Colombia, US Hispanic, Chile and Venezuela. He worked as Content Entertainment Development Director at Turner, was Content Director at Canal 13 in Chile, was part of the production company Promofilm as Head of Content and of Cuatro Cabezas as scriptwriter – with reach to multiple countries in Latin America and the United States – and joined the sports channel TyC Sports as a producer in his first years of his career. He holds a degree in Communication Sciences and is currently based in Chile.
