  • ¿What categories does Conecta FICTION & ENTERTAINMENT 8 have?

Conecta FICTION & ENTERTAINMENT 8 has five categories:

  • PITCH COPRO SERIES: International co-production projects for television series or mini-series.
  • PITCH HIGH END SERIES: High-budget projects with high audience potential and elements that make them particularly attractive (international co-productions, being backed by talents such as screenwriters, directors, cast, etc., being based on pre-existing material such as podcasts, video games, literary works, plays, etc.).
  • PITCH DOCUDRAMA SERIES: Docudrama series projects, i.e. documentary series including fictionalised re-enactments.
  • PITCH MUSIC SERIES: Fiction series or mini-series projects, in which music plays a fundamental role.
  • PITCH FEELGOOD FORMATS: TV format projects with elements of humour or which seek to bring a smile to the viewer’s face.
  • ¿How many projects can I present to each category of Conecta FICTION & ENTERTAINMENT 8?
    1. PITCH COPRO SERIES can present a maximum of 3 projects.
    2. PITCH HIGH END SERIES can present a maximum of 3 projects.
    3. PITCH DOCUDRAMA SERIES can present a maximum of 3 projects.
    4. PITCH MUSIC SERIES can present a maximum of 3 projects.
    5. PITCH FEELGOOD FORMATS can present a maximum of 1 project.
  • ¿Can I present the same project to more than one category?

No.

The same project can not be presented to different categories.

  • ¿How do I present my project?
  1. Create account (No need to get an accreditation for this)
  2. Log in
  3. Enter the page of the call and click on the “Present a Project” button. A form will open up, fill this form with the projects data.
  4. Upload documents to a Wetransfer and copy this Wetransfer link onto the section of the form that asks for it.
  • ¿Who can present a project?

PITCH COPRO SERIES, PITCH HIGH END SERIES, PITCH DOCUDRAMA SERIES and PITCH MUSIC SERIES are open to projects submitted by legal entities (production companies, distributors, television channels, etc.) – not individuals – of any nationality.

Projects from natural persons, as scriptwriters, will not be accepted if the Project does not have a producer who is a legal entity linked to the Project.

Projects can be submitted to the PITCH FEELGOOD FORMATS call for proposals by any natural or legal person.

¿At what time does the call for projects close?

At 23:59 Spanish time.

 

¿In what stage should projects presented to Conecta be?

In development, without having entered the production phase.

 

¿Can feature films and animation projects be submitted?

No feature film projects can be submitted.

No animation projects can be submitted. Exceptionally, live-action projects with a minimal percentage of animation will be eligible.

 

Do the materials have to be designed in a visually appealing way, or can they be standard documents on a white background?

The project materials may not be visually designed, but it is recommended that they are, so that these added design elements can help better convey the project.
