The Editorial Committee for the 2025 Conecta FICTION & ENTERTAINMENT Pitch Docudrama Series comprises accomplished professionals and senior executives from the global audiovisual industry, with representation from both Europe and America. Their task involves meticulously reviewing and evaluating the docudrama series projects submitted during our call for projects. From this pool of submissions, 5 outstanding projects are selected to captivate the audience through live pitching sessions at Conecta FICTION & ENTERTAINMENT in June 2025.

MICHELA GIORELLI
CONTENT EXECUTIVE

Content executive with extensive experience in documentary storytelling and unscripted formats, recognized with Emmy awards. She most recently served as Vice President of Unscripted Production at NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises, where she developed original IPs and oversaw primetime series. Previously, she was Vice President of Production and Development for Discovery Latin America/US Hispanic for more than 25 years, where she played a key role in the development and execution of more than 5,000 productions for the U.S. Hispanic and Latin American markets. Among her recent highlights are true crime series for Max such as Massacre of the Mormons, Garavito: The Serial Beast, Menem Junior: The Death of a President’s Son and Dossier Chapecó, as well as documentaries such as Caravanas, Children at the Border and El caso Colosio. She also led docuseries such as Mexicánicos and Texas Trocas, and adaptations of international formats such as Naked and Afraid and Amazing Race.

Jarmo has been Head of Drama at YLE since 2015. His background includes working as Professor of Film Directing and Head of the Department of Film, Television and Scenography at Aalto University, Helsinki. Since 1992 has worked as a director, scriptwriter and producer with numerous productions for cinema, television and theatre.

In charge since 2019 of Prime Video’s strategy and original entertainment productions (“Operación Triunfo”, “G.E.O. Más Allá del Límite”, “LOL: si te ríes, pierdes”, “Bake Off”, El Desafío: ETA, among others). Graduate in Audiovisual Communication and Master in Creativity and TV programs. Scriptwriter since 2006, script coordinator in programs such as “Pesadilla en la Cocina” and “El Jefe Infiltrado” and, later, in charge of creative development, I+D and acquisitions of international formats in companies such as Warner Bros ITVP España and Boxfish.
