The Conecta FICTION & ENTERTAINMENT Pitch Music Series Editorial Committee is formed by professional experts and senior executives from the audiovisual industry, both from Europe and America. They are in charge of reviewing and evaluating the international series projects where music plays a relevant part received in our call for projects. From all submitted projects, 5 of them are selected by them to be presented & pitched during Conecta 2025.
The members of the Pitch MUSIC Series Editorial Committee for the 2025 edition of Conecta FICTION & ENTERTAINMENT are:

DIEGO DEL POZO
MANAGER OF FICTION
ATRESMEDIA TELEVISION (SPAIN)
Degree in Business Administration and Management (UC3M, 2011), Master’s Degree in Direction of the Audiovisual Company (UC3M, 2011) and Master’s Degree in Management of the Audiovisual Company (EAE, 2015). Since 2011 he has been working at Atresmedia Televisión, where he currently holds the position of Fiction Manager, overseeing the search, launch and development of the original fictions of Series Atresmedia, mainly for atresplayer, the group’s SVOD platform. In addition, he has also developed a teaching work being a professor of several master’s degrees and programs in different universities and audiovisual business schools.

MARIE LEGUIZAMO
GENERAL MANAGER
BANIJAY MEXICO & US HISPANIC (USA)
Named one of the Most Powerful Women in International Television by The Hollywood Reporter, Leguizamo oversees the Mexico City and Los Angeles-based studio and focuses on developing and producing original content in English and Spanish for broadcast, cable and streaming platforms in the Mexico and U.S. Hispanic markets. Prior to joining Banijay Mexico and U.S. Hispanic, Leguizamo was showrunner and executive producer on numerous prominent Spanish-language series, including projects produced by Banijay Mexico and U.S. Hispanic’s sister company, Endemol Shine Boomdog. Her credits include La Voz Kids (Telemundo), Pequeños Gigantes USA (Univision), Mira Quien Baila (Univision) and La Gran Sorpresa (Univision). Leguizamo has produced unscripted television for nearly two decades, and her vision and concepts have led to record ratings and success. She has twice been recognized by the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences with Emmy nominations for her work on La Voz Kids; she has also earned multiple Daytime Emmy nominations for LOL: Last One Laughing Mexico. Leguizamo was honored by the Imagen Foundation as one of the 2024 “Influential Latinas in Media” and was included in HOLA!’s 100 Latina Powerhouse list.

ANA CELIA URQUIDI
CEO & Fiction Director in Strategic Development
ATENEA MEDIA (MEXICO)
She began her career at Televisa in production and casting direction, participating in several soaps such as El abuelo y yo, La Paloma, among many others. In 1996 she joined the production company Argos, working on hits such as Mirada de Mujer, La vida en el espejo, and more, all for Tv Azteca. Her career as a producer extends to other television stations and platforms such as Telemundo, for whom she produced hits such as La Patrona and El Señor de los Cielos, as well as Capadocia for HBO and Ingobernable for Netflix. In 2016 she joined TV Azteca as director of fiction development. In 2018 she joined Hemisphere to produce the series Erre for Viacom. In 2019 she founded Atenea Media, producing films such as Peligro en tu mirada and Dulce Obsesión. She has also participated on multiple occasions, as a panelist, moderator, special guest and jury of the International Emmy Awards for 6 consecutive years and Conecta FICTION & ENTERTAINMENT. She is part of the board of MipCancun since 2016. She is currently executive producer of Lo que callamos la mujeres for TV Azteca and La serie Lalola for VIX.
