What is Pitch High-End Series?

‘Pitch High-End Series’ in an international call for projects is aimed at high-budget fiction series projects that are looking for the best partners. These projects must have a budget per episode equal to or greater than 1,000,000 euros in the case of productions of more than 1 commercial hour per episode, and 500,000 euros in the case of short-format productions (30 minutes per episode). Projects must have 10% of financing secured. 

Your project must have great international potential. For example, be international co-productions, be backed by great talents such as screenwriters, directors, cast, showrunners, producers, and be based on pre-existing works such as literary works, theatrical works, podcasts, video games, etc..

What does the Pitch High-End Series call offer?

6 finalist projects have been selected to present their Projects in Toledo, June 18-21, 2024.

In case of selection, you will have the opportunity to present your project in a pitching session in front of an audience of executives and potential industry partners at Conecta FICTION & ENTERTAINMENT.

Conecta FICTION & ENTERTAINMENT will cover accreditation and accommodation costs, for 3 nights, from June 18-21, 2024, for one representative of each Project selected.


Who can participate in the call for projects?

  • Open to producers incorporated as legal entities, not to individuals.
  • Only live-action fiction TV Series or Mini-series projects
  • Series: minimum 4 and maximum 13 episodes.
  • Mini-series: minimum 2 and maximum 10 episodes.
  • There is no limitation on the length of the episodes
  • Your project shall be in the development phase.
  • Can you submit a maximum of 3 projects (on the first season)


What are the documents required to participate in the call?

Documents must be presented in English or Spanish.

  • One-pager project presentation
  • Bible summary (logline, synopsis, characters, world, tone, season overview – 5/7 pages maximum)
  • Pilot script
  • Letter describing writer and/or producer vision of the Project
  • Production Budget: (in euros): form available here
  • Financial plan (in euros): form available here
  • Company corporate documentation: tax number or registration document
  • Dated and signed contracts or letter of commitment or interest, showing at least 10% financing already secured.
  • In the case of a project based on a pre-existing work, must has signed and dated contract must be attached, showing the transfer of rights to the production company for its adaptation into a television series.

In addition, the following documents (not mandatory) may be submitted:

  • Talent´s resume
  • Letters of interest of talent attached
  • Producer`s resume
  • Visual materials (trailer or other examples of the Project), if available
  • Script(s) for the following episodes, if available, especially for series projects of less than 30 minutes per episode.


How are projects selected?

We will put your project in the hands of the High-End Series Editorial Committee (to be confirmed shortly), composed of a team of international professionals with different areas of expertise within the industry.

The Editorial Committee will evaluate all the projects received and will select the 5 finalists, based on criteria such as artistic quality, uniqueness of the content, state of development, budget, and international potential, among others.

The finalists will be announced in May 2024.


How and when can projects be submitted?

You have until April 2nd, 2024, to send us your Project, remember that the submission must be done through the website, we will not receive any requests by email.

To register a project, you must:

  • Create an account
  • Log in
  • Enter this page and click on the ‘Submit a projectbutton at the bottom of the page. This will open a form that must be filled in with all the project data.
  • No accreditation is required to submit a project.
  • Project registration is free of charge.
  • The same project cannot be presented in other Pitching sessions.
