Conecta THINK TANK with the participation of ICEX-Invest in Spain is an exclusive discussion forum that takes place in a different and unique location each year.
Leading industry professionals discuss in depth, in a relaxed atmosphere, the present and future of the international television sector, from creativity, financing, operating windows, European and national legal frameworks, to new trends in the industry.
This edition of Conecta THINK TANK took place on Tuesday, 18 June 2024 in the facilities of Puy du Fou España, a unique park located in the heart of nature, that allows you to travel throughout Spanish history. Since its opening in 2021, it has won the IAAPA Brass Ring Award for the best show in the world for three consecutive years.

Who can participate: Professionals from the audiovisual sector. Being a premium activity with limited capacity, priority will be given to Conecta 8 accredited professionals. Accreditation to Conecta THINK TANK does not give access to Conecta 8 activities, and vice versa. The organisation reserves the right of admission according to professional profile.

Round Tables
Among the topics that were discussed in this fifth edition of Conecta THINK TANK, were the upcoming challenges in the audiovisual industry, the impact of AI and its benefits and drawbacks, the legislative limits of the new technological context and the retention of intellectual property rights. They also talked about new trends in both entertainment and fiction and the pros and cons of co-productions were analysed, as well as the different distribution strategies and business models of the platforms (FAST, AVOD, PPV). The importance of marketing and communication in content as well as sustainability in filming and new ways of financing will be other topics of debate at Conecta THINK TANK.
